Gene Description RECQL4, RecQ like helicase 4, is a RecQ family helicase that unwinds double-stranded DNA and is involved in DNA repair and replication initiation (PMID: 24606147, PMID: 31276497). RECQL4 mutations are associated with increased risk of developing lymphoma and osteosarcoma (PMID: 29080750, PMID: 31604778) and RECQL4 amplification has been reported in invasive breast carcinoma (PMID: 32152520).
