| Gene Description | KMT2B, lysine methyltransferase 2B, is responsible for the methylation of H3K4, a post-translational modification that leads to the regulation of gene expression, the cell cycle, and embryonic development (PMID: 27839873, PMID: 25998713). KMT2B mutations have been identified in a variety of tumor types including endometrial cancer, lung cancer, and hepatic cancer (PMID: 25998713). | ||||||||||
