|Gene Description||G3BP2, G3BP stress granule assembly factor 2, is an RNA-binding protein that plays a role in the formation of stress granules (PMID: 23279204, PMID: 27022092, PMID: 30595162), and regulation of cell signaling (PMID: 30595162), including TP53 signaling (PMID: 29379164, PMID: 29378906). G3BP2 overexpression has been demonstrated in several tumor types (PMID: 30595162), including breast cancer (PMID: 12587999), an FGFR2-G3BP2 fusion has been identified in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 36274097), and a G3BP2-KIT fusion has been identified in Philadelphia-like acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 34991158).|
