Therapy Description

Kyprolis (carfilzomib) binds to the 20S proteasome and inhibits its protein degradation activity, thereby leading to the accumulation of ubiquinated proteins, which may result in apoptosis and growth arrest in tumor cells (NCI Drug Dictionary). Kyprolis (carfilzomib), in combination with lenalidomide and dexamethasone, is FDA approved for multiple myeloma (FDA.gov).

Filtering
